Memque is intended for learning foreign languages and replenishing your vocabulary.
Create your own dictionaries and cards with words or phrases and learn them in different ways - by means of flash cards or selecting the correct translation from a selection of words.
The application controls how well youve mastered a card and marks those requiring repetition.
You can make your dictionaries public or download any available in the system.
The application also gives you the opportunity to create shared dictionaries with friends and teachers, and revise cards together.The application includes the following features:DICTIONARIES- Create dictionaries with a description for different purposes, such as for idioms or for frequently used sentences.- Specify the original language and the foreign translation.- Make a dictionary public and denote search tags in order to give other people the opportunity to download them and get training.- Mark a dictionary as a favourite in order to have quick access to it from your dashboard.- Assign an appropriate picture to a dictionary.
CARDS- Add words and phrases to your dictionaries that you intend to learn.
- Specify any number of possible translations of a card.- Add examples where context is required to understand a word or a phrase.- Add a note if you would like to single out a feature of the card.- Add a picture to create a visual association.TRAINING- Repeat your cards at any time convenient to you.- Repeat cards that require repetition or repeat all of them - the application will ask you before you start training.- Choose a type of training: flash cards or quiz cards.- Limit the number of cards to repeat per session.- Use hints for cards and listen to the pronunciation.- Your cards success level changes every training session.PUBLIC DICTIONARIES- Find any dictionaries that spark your interest and download them to your profile.- Master the vocabulary of public dictionaries.SHARED DICTIONARIES- Invite friends and teachers.- The application creates a shared dictionary for you and your friend where you can both save cards and learn them together.- Teachers can add new words and phrases by themselves for your convenience.CHATS- Communicate with your friends and teachers via the chat.- Exchange cards via the chat.
